Blessings Of The Anointing: The Cost

anointing

Everyone wants the blessings, but few are willing to position themselves to receive all God has promised. In Isaiah 10:27, God promises that the burden (the load) the enemy has laid upon your shoulder shall be taken away, and the yoke (that bondage, that captivity, that suppressing force) shall not only be taken away but also destroyed; and God says it is by the anointing oil (of the Holy Spirit). While all the promises of God are promised freely to all who believe, there is a high price of receiving them… the price of whole hearted, full surrender (Psalm 119:10, 34); the price of seeking “first the kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:25-33); the price of cleaning the rubbish and trash out of our life (2 Corinthians 7:1); the price of planting the seed of the word of God in our heart (Psalm 119:11); the price of giving our all into His hands… our will, our lifestyle, our possessions (Psalm 37:5).  Receiving the promises of God requires a new menu from the old one of doubt, fear, and evil. Yes the promises of God, and the anointing that administers them, are freely given to all who believe, but the cost of receiving them is high in terms of the flesh! Are you willing to pay the price?

Blessings Of Obedience

-By Rose Hill

Rise up, Oh burdened one and seek God’s way,

And the yoke from your neck will be taken away.

Be faithful to plant the right seed each day,

“God will provide” let your mouth say.

Seek first God’s kingdom and righteousness,

And to His power you will have access.

Your life becomes very adventurous,

With His anointing to provide and bless.

Get your life in order, clean out all the dust,

And God will make you strong and robust.

God’s word also says surrender you must,

Yield to God’s way and in His word trust.

Give into the hands of the anointed one,

And your heavenly Father won’t your needs shun.

Jesus will take the things that you give,

And make it more than enough as for Him you live.
