Sunshine or Clouds

The days in which we live are pressing days, with the demands of life and the concerns of the world around us weighing heavily upon us. The spirit of the age would entice us to be so focused on these things that our spiritual infrared vision is blocked; this in turn becomes a blocking mechanism to the full light of God’s presence shining through. In Luke 21:34 as He approaches the end of His discourse on the signs of the age and His soon return, Jesus tells us to “take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life…” Could it be that we can become so (spiritually) intoxicated with these cares that we are like one drunken with alcohol or dissipation, unfocused and unstable? 1 Peter 5:7 tells us “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” That is to throw those worries, burdens, anxieties, and distractions, on Him. Remember Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:34 (and we will quote this one from a paraphrase, The Living Bible) “So don’t be anxious about tomorrow. God will take care of your tomorrow too. Live one day at a time.” Remember these words from an old hymn “Turn you eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face; And the things of earth will grow strangely dim In the light of His glory and grace.”

Cares Of This Life Are Like Cloudy Days

Prophetic words by Rose Hill

Thus saith God your Loving Father, your lives are like cloudy days. The clouds are the cares of this life. You are allowing them to block out the light of My presence and the joy of the Lord. I want to get through to you My children; I want to help you but you cannot see Me because of the clouds that are in the way. I want you to cast your care on Me saith God. Have I not asked you to do this in My word? I care for you, but as long as you are trying to work out your own problems you are keeping the clouds in the way of the sun shining through. Commit your way unto Me and I will bring it to pass. The sun has a lot of light for you just as I have a lot of light for you, but you must get the clouds out of the way for me to shine through.
